Could we use normal approximation in Q4 as both np and nq were greater than 5?

yeah.. as nq=5.1 and np=9.9 you can use normal approximation with a continuity correction, but it’s not recommended as there are only 2 values to be calculated

Thanks a lot for the quick reply!

Thnx finally

I think you should re check your ques 5 !

what part of it?

Inter quartile range !

One more thing i want to ask that when you will post phy and chem paper 22 !

I don’t see the mistake..

why u find inter quartile from the end?

i’ve found upper quartile like that.. you should recheck your Q3

my inter quartile is 20.5-7=13.5

Will marks be deducted if in Q1 part ii we have written 0.1917 instead of 0.192 ?

the answers should be given to 3sf

For question 7 I used the second method (adding all options) but I got only one of the options correct and added it to 1 other option (which is wrong), how many marks will I get?

For question 7 I used the second method (adding all options) but I got only one of the options correct and added it to 1 other option, not 2 (the second option is wrong), how many marks will I get?

Hey mate thanks for posting the paper!! Hey like for the 7th question right part ii) suppose i did all of it all the steps you did broke it down into 3L’s inside 2 L’s inside 1 L inside and what not (explicitly showing all workings and assuptions), but didnt account for other as in didnt multiply by 5C2 and 5C1 in the cases of 2 and 3 L’s inside.

also what would be competitive score for this paper

you will get around 2 marks for 7ii

i see thanks:)

What about mechanics m8?

we don’t have it

How many marks will I lose for question 7 if only one of my options are correct

youll probably get 1 mark

For question 6 (iii), I truncated my answer down to 107 days rather than rounding it upto 108 days. Will I lose marks for it? Sometimes, they seem to allow multiple answers to these kinds of questions. But do you think it will be the case this time?

most probably both will be accepted

Kindly Post IGCSE Business Studies May/June 2016 Paper 2.

paper 1 published, we don’t have the paper 2.

Q.7 it mentioned – There must be at least 1 from each activity and there must be more athletes than cyclists.

S A C

1 3 2 = 5C1 x 7C3 x 4C2 = 1050

3 2 1 = 5C3 x 7C2 x 4C1 = 840

= 1890 ways

you can have

S A C

1 4 1

2 3 1

3 2 1

1 3 2

For the question 2(i), P(5<X<10), i think 5 and 10 should not be included.

it doesn’t matter.. it’s a normal distribution

Salam,

Hi.. Look I have a question…I didn’t do normal approx. for question 2 and also I misread question 7…And instead write all the possibilities..That all get 1…What do u think I will get in both the questions… Please help.

Jazakallah

In question 7, I wrote so many possibilities(about 10 of them) coz I didn’t read the whole question properly:(

But the waiting time should be 6-9 minutes; when u take 0.88-0.16=0.72,this includes 5 minutes

Anyway, when the mark scheme of economics papers will be available?

in august :/
